Beautiful

Hey Cayler, it's been a while

As a musical review this is an absolutely beautiful rendition of this song; I think it's the first time I ever heard a man sing it, and I don't think anyone else could have done it better. You have just the right smooth gentle voice for it. The piano placing the guitar was also a good idea! Absolutely wonderful.
On a personal note, this song always gets me. I'm the youngest member of my family, and the day I graduated my mother and I celebrated at this little karaoke place we always love to go to. She decided to sing this song, and about halfway through it she suddenly realized the gravity of the lyrics, now completely identifying with them as she realized that that was the day I was officially grown up. Immediately she began to tear up, and as she continued to sing they just continued to fall. It was a really touching moment to me, and hearing this song stirs those memories. Don't ever stop singing okay?

Cayler responds:

I'm glad that songs holds so much meaning for you and that you like my rendition of it. And don't u worry, I'll never stop singing, unless of course I get in an accident and lose my voice box or something. lol

I'm not one for writing reviews...

But this was incredible. The chord progressions were just enchanting, and I loved the backwards effect you used near the middle. Hauntingly beautiful!

Lovely as always. <3

Hey Cayler! Good to see a new song from you, dear.
This has always been a favorite piece of mine, so you already get bonus points for having a good taste in music. I kind of like how you made the notations in your voice as simple as possible. This is something new from you, in my opinion. Really, when you do this it makes me realize just how steady your notes are, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. They don't move anywhere what soever until you want them to! Anyway, hit me up some time, will you? I have a new duet idea, and I was wondering if you wanted to help out. Take care!

With love,
Mandi <3

Cayler responds:

Yes, this was change of pace for me, in that I usually try to sing at the edge of my abilities. But this was right in the center, right where I was comfortable, so there wasn't any straining going on. I'll be in contact with you soon I'm sure, on AIM probably! :P

WHAT!?

No it's NOT! >=(
Maybe my favorite piece from YOU.

... Or ever...

<3 It's so bad it's good.

Decerto responds:

haha <333!

Lovely. =)

Hi Cayler!

Okay, first of all this song has been a classic favorite for me for years now. I have a lot of retrospective attatchments to it, and I've always loved it. I'm pleased to say that you did more than justice for this piece, and did more than just flatter it. But anyway, all that aside, I have to say... You've got soul, brother. =) You can SING. Beautiful tenor voice, good sense of where and where not to use vibrato, and good wholesome raw emotion to boot. You've been doing this for a while, haven't ya? ;D
So from one musician to another, I tip my hat to you and hope the best of luck for you in the future. Good job!

Cayler responds:

The way you worded that response, I can tell you are also a musician. :] The thing about my vibrato usage is that it only comes out when I really feel the emotion, so I can't just sing vibrato and hold it like people who have been classically trained. I'm always uncertain about what my vibrato is gonna do. Thanks for the good review and the 10, and all the flattery lol Your comments are what every musician wants to hear. :D

Eeheehee!

*Giggle* What a ham!
Love it Vago! <3

What did I tell you!?

>=3 WHAT did I tell you. I am SO going to win this bet.
Anywho, lovely work as always. I heard this a long time ago, but it's still just as good as before! I always liked the rhythm for this one, it's so different. Keep up the wonderful work!

Okay, okay, okay, guys...

=3 Yesh, hello Ragey dearie. May I vent please?

Alright, reviewers who think that this singer is me, you're WRONG... This doesn't even remotely sound like me. Besides, I'm notorious for being the Super-Soprano. I hear no high notes here! =3 I'm not mad or anything. Just being supah-corrective. Just remember. If my name's not in the description, then it's NOT ME. NOT...ME...
Thank you very much!

Lovely job as always by the way, my maestro. =3

XD !

This song is so funny! I love the harmonizing in the "bitch" chorus. It's actually really well done. The guitar is really well done as well. One question though, is there really a Katie? Or did you make her up? =3 Who is she? Thank you for making this, it's really silly!

MikeTaylor responds:

Thank you! The song was inspired by a girl named Katie, however it was meant to be a joke. She didn't end up taking it that way, but as far as who she is exactly.. The world may never know. Thanks for the review!

=')

Thank you so much, my maestro. This was the most beautiful piece... I don't have much else to say, other than that.

XOXO,
Lady Arsenic <3

MaestroRage responds:

but of course my dear, you deserve it with all you've done for me! Thanks for the review, truly glad you liked it ;)!

Yep, I'm definitely Lady Arsenic. This is definitely my page. No, you definitely haven't made a mistake.
