Just because your computer sucks and your new microphone is giving you hell does not mean that you should have to put a hiatus on your singing creativity. It's one thing if you really do want to give it a break but if your as disappointed as much as your saying, well it never has to end. My computer has completely crashed since January, my eight track is shit, and I move around so much but I always manage to come up with my personal music ideas every now and again. I'm actually a more recent fan of yours and I hope to hear anything new by you whether it's music and/or voice acting. If the voice acting things is a completely new thing for you then good luck.
